Every Sunday we invite children and adults to be inspired by the artwork in our exhibition. We will talk about art, ideas and artists, and explore our creativity using different techniques and expressions.
When?
We run two workshops every Sunday.
11:30-13:00: recommended age 5 to 7 years
14:00-15:30 PM: recommended age 8 to 10 years
These are just recommendations – we are flexible!
Price
50 NOK per child. We recommend booking tickets in advance, as places are limited.
All children must be accompanied by an adult, who will need to pay the standard museum entrance fee.
Sol LeWitt
This time, we’ll take a closer look at the artwork by Sol LeWitt, which is drawn directly onto the wall at the top of our orange staircase. The piece consists of scribbled lines created with pencil on the wall.
What makes this artwork particularly special is that Sol LeWitt didn’t draw it himself. He simply created a set of instructions for how the artwork should be drawn, and then someone else followed those instructions to create it on our wall!
So whose artwork is it really? The people who drew it, or Sol LeWitt, who created the instructions? This is what we will explore in a creative drawing workshop for the whole family.
