PoMo continues its collaboration with Kosmorama, and this year has selected Louise Bourgeois: The Rage to Understand for the festival programme.
Over her 70-year career, Louise Bourgeois established herself as a world-renowned artist who left an indelible mark on the art world. Her work is intertwined with her personal traumas, in which she developed themes linked to femininity, sexuality, family and early childhood. Using a wide variety of materials and objects imposed with a volcanic intensity, Bourgeois rejected all conventions and displayed her vulnerabilities in ways few artists had dared before her.
