School visits

Free entry for school classes and nurseries on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:00–16:00

We are delighted to welcome school groups and nurseries to PoMo. Due to limited capacity in the building, visits must be booked and confirmed in advance.

Please send your booking request well ahead of your preferred date to formidling@pomo.no. Demand is high, but we aim to accommodate as many children’s groups as possible.

We welcome groups of up to 30 people. For school visits, one teacher is required for every 10 pupils. As a teacher, you are responsible for ensuring that pupils follow the guidelines throughout the visit:

Bags, rucksacks and coats must be left in the cloakroom downstairs.

Please do not touch the artworks. Keep a distance of 30 cm.

Teachers must accompany pupils through the museum at all times.

PoMo is not a whispering museum. We encourage lively discussion about the art! Just remember to be considerate of other visitors.

We also offer guided tours at 1300NOK per group.
