History meets the present as PoMo reopens the doors to Trondheim’s old main post office. In our opening exhibition, Postcards from the Future, we showcase a series of small stories, with each artist getting their own space.

On the first floor, you’ll step straight into the building’s history and the iconic post hall, which was the heart of the main post office. On the second floor, you’ll encounter works exploring complex emotions, psychology and dreamscapes. The third floor takes inspiration from the diverse imagery of postcards, with pieces that highlight how we experience the world we live in.

The exhibition features unique loans from national and international museums and private collections, alongside spectacular works from PoMo’s own collection. We’re building a collection for the future, with 60% of our acquisition budget dedicated to female artists.
